(+cacti)

The drawing studio for my class in the evening. I went here around this time a week ago and really enjoy the atmosphere when I’m alone and the lights aren’t all on and the sky is dark blue. Sort of a combination of an atmospheric/comfort image and a work image by merit.

nope. : ( i feel a bit bad, but i didn't get the chance to take pictures of the still life again (scared)... and then they said they were taking it down... so i was like hmm i didn't get the chance to incorporate these cactuses in the rest of my object collages and they're another artsy (sorry) kind of object that's important to me! so i took photographs of the cactuses. and i'm back from spring break now and the still life is still there. i think. uh
well! it's obviously not the same, but i think looking at these as a whole they still fit together somewhat. I think this is mainly due to the colors (orange/yellow with blue).
cactuses (i just think cactuses is more fun as a word sorry) are something that also are an object created by other artists that i really like and i want to be able to make something like this (i need to learn how to crochet) (also there are pmpkins i was referring to them as just cacti) (also that was a partial lie i made 2 of these, the needle felt cactus and mushrooms in 4th image though you can only see the top of it)
also also, these kind of tie into how nature inspires me and my ... working process.. and i appreciate it. i can't actually really photograph nature, of course. because it is winter. so have fake plants! I also can't really keep plants in college. so fake plants!
these also fit in a bit with the 'outside' inspiration idea. that's in the outside set of pictures. so you get a taste of that in these as well as the original image. look its blue outside! look at those trees and those little lights out there!
